Use your meetings in Claude and ChatGPT

3 min readUpdated October 2026

Connect Sorinai to Claude or ChatGPT and either one can read your notes, transcripts and templates when you ask, so you can draft the follow-up, the brief or the plan in the assistant you already use.

The address you'll need
Both assistants ask for Sorinai’s server URL when you add it: https://mcp.sorinai.com/mcp

Connect Claude

  1. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors, click + Add, then Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Sorinai, paste https://mcp.sorinai.com/mcp as the server URL, click Continue twice (the defaults are fine), then Add.
  3. Click Connect, sign in with your Sorinai account, and allow access.
  4. In a chat, click +, open Connectors and check Sorinai is switched on.

On a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds Sorinai once for everyone under Organization settings → Connectors (Add, then Custom, then Web if asked). Then everyone, the Owner included, finds it under Customize → Connectors and clicks Connect. Claude’s free plan allows one custom connector.

Connect ChatGPT

ChatGPT runs custom connectors in Developer mode, on the web, for Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu accounts. In a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace, ask an admin to add Sorinai and publish it to the workspace — on Business, only admins can use Developer mode.

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, click +, name it Sorinai, paste https://mcp.sorinai.com/mcp as the MCP server URL, and click Create.
  3. Sign in with your Sorinai account and allow access.
  4. In a new chat, add Sorinai from the tools menu.

Things to ask

Ask in plain words. The assistant finds the right meetings and reads what it needs from them. For example:

  • “What did we agree in last week’s meetings? List the action items and who owns them.”
  • “What exactly did the client say about pricing on my last call with Acme?”
  • “Which templates does my team share, and what does each one ask?”
  • “Draft a follow-up email to Jordan from our last meeting.”

What it can read

Signing in gives the assistant read access to your own account:

  • Your meetings: title, date, people, folder and the template used.
  • Your notes, both the Original and the Enhanced version, plus your filled template answers.
  • Full transcripts, with who said what and when.
  • Your templates, and the ones shared with your team.

It can only read: it can’t change or delete anything, and it sees your own meetings, not your teammates’.

Good to know

  • On the free Starter plan, the assistant reads your last 30 days of meetings, the same window you see in the app.
  • Right after a meeting ends, its notes take a moment to finish. If they’re not there yet, ask again shortly.
  • A note you took without recording holds only what you typed, so there’s no transcript to quote from.
  • If the assistant says Sorinai couldn’t load something, ask once more. If it can’t reach Sorinai at all, disconnect Sorinai and connect it again.

Privacy and disconnecting

The assistant reads from Sorinai only at your request, and only from your account. Once meeting content is in your chat, Claude’s or ChatGPT’s own privacy policy covers it. Our privacy policy explains how this fits with the rest of your data.

To disconnect, open Sorinai under Customize → Connectors in Claude, or under Settings → Plugins in ChatGPT, and choose Disconnect. After that, the assistant can’t read your meetings.
