Search & past sessions

3 min read·Updated Apr 21, 2026

Every interview you've captured is searchable. Find a specific phrase, or ask a natural-language question across the lot.

Opening search

Click the search icon in the sidebar of the main window. Two modes live there: Search for a specific phrase, or Ask for a natural-language question across all your past sessions.

Search is only available when you’re not on a live call — the main window hides while a session is running.

Find a specific phrase

Type a keyword or phrase. Sorinai shows every matching snippet across your past sessions, with the candidate name and timestamp. Click one to jump straight to that moment in the transcript.

Search looks for your exact words. If you’re hunting for a concept rather than a phrase, switch to Ask.

Ask a question

Ask takes natural-language questions and streams the answer back. Think of it as a memory for your interviews — rather than remembering which candidate said what, you just ask. Good prompts:

  • “What did Sarah say about her notice period?”
  • “Which candidates this week mentioned they’re open to relocation?”
  • “Summarise the candidates I interviewed for the ops lead role.”
  • “Who asked the most thoughtful questions about the company?”
  • “Which candidates brought up salary expectations?”

Answers cite the sessions they came from — click through to verify.

Session history

Session history is the flat list of every interview you’ve captured — open it from the sidebar in the main app. Each row shows the candidate, the role, the date, the duration, and how much of the qualification sheet got filled in. Sort, filter, or tap in.

Opening a past session

A session’s detail page has everything about that one call:

  • The full transcript, with timestamps.
  • The qualification sheet — editable, with the filled document ready to download.
  • Every red flag, with its evidence in the transcript.
  • A short digest (candidate name, one-line highlight).
  • The CV, job description, and calendar event you attached at the start.

Deleting a session

From the session detail view, Delete session removes the session, its transcript, and any filled documents. This can’t be undone.
